I’m not a part of the Orthodox Church. I have always attended a Protestant Evangelical Church. But over the course of my seminary study, I have gained a great appreciation for the Orthodox Church and its doctrine and liturgy.
Having said that, a friend of mine sent this to me via facebook today. It is a video of a newly consecrated Orthodox bishop who was asked to speak to a group of priests during a time of crisis on the Orthodox Church of America. Listen to what he has to say. You may not relate to the liturgy and ritual of the OCA and you may not understand the naming conventions they use for the church’s hierarchy, but if you listen you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to a church in crisis. Somehow, I don’t believe this word is just for the OCA.
Take a look when you have time – it’s about 30 minutes. Leave me a comment and let me know what you hear.

Yes Ben-
This is a very powerful message to the Church. I am glad you found this. I hope, God willing, to see him at the beginning of September for a few days. Look at what he said to the Anglican who have pulled away from the apostate Episcopal Church:

Thanks for your feed-back. I am working on your suggestions right away. Very wise technical advise.
By the way, how did the young lady do on her report on Orthodoxy?
